Low Latency and Improved User Experience
Importantly, Indian telecom service providers began offering fast 5G services in the nation starting in October 2022. In August 2022, the government sent letters to telecom service providers requesting them to get ready for the launch of 5G services in the nation. From the 5G spectrum auction, the Department of Telecom has received total bids of Rs. 1.50 lakh crore.
