Vande Bharat Sleeper Train pictures create storm
Many have drawn comparisons between these coaches and first-class airline cabins. Anticipation for the new high-speed train, projected to be operational by early 2024, has been heightened by these images. As of now, the Vande Bharat train is exclusively available in the chair-car seating.
However, the introduction of sleeper coaches will bring several enhancements, including broader berths, well-lit interiors, roomy restrooms, a compact kitchenette, and enhanced safety measures. These upcoming trains are anticipated to exhibit improved energy efficiency and a more environmentally friendly design compared to existing coaches.
Commenting on the pictures, Anand Mahindra wrote, “Way to go! India will grow the fastest when the target is to upgrade the standard of experience for the widest possible segment of our population.” His tweet has garnered over 80k views and more than 5k likes.

The inaugural Vande Bharat Express, operating between New Delhi and Varanasi, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 15, 2019.
