Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had given a big statement a few days back on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. It was insisted that PoK would be taken over again. Now Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi has given his reaction on the statement of Defense Minister. It has been clearly said from his side that whatever the instructions of the government will be, it will be followed.

They say that we are ready to take any action, work will be done according to the instructions of the government. Upendra Dwivedi has also issued a warning to Pakistan. It has been said that if the ceasefire is violated then it will get a befitting reply. It is the responsibility of both the countries to maintain peace on the border, but if Pakistan takes any step, it will have to be ready to face the consequences.
Now for information, a few days ago Rajnath Singh went on a tour of Jammu and Kashmir. He had said that what he (Pakistan) has done in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) will have to pay for it. Pakistan is doing ‘atrocities’ on the people in its occupied Kashmir and it will have to face the consequences. He further said that we have started the development work of Kashmir, but we will not stop till we reach Gilgit-Baltistan.
What did you say on target killing?
Now Upendra Dwivedi has said this on the same statement of Defense Minister. Even before this, there has been hue and cry from the army from time to time. A few days back, Chinar Cops had also given a big statement in this direction. It was clearly said that the government’s order is awaited, action will be taken immediately.
By the way, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi has also reacted to the target killing happening in Jammu and Kashmir. It has been told from their side that the terrorists have gone berserk at this time, that is why unarmed people are being fired upon. But their plans will never be allowed to be fulfilled. The lieutenant general also emphasized that the youth cannot be allowed to get radicalized in the valley. It is necessary to educate them. They have to be stopped from going on the path of terror.
