Indian, Chinese troops engaged in face-off

The skirmish took place in the Yangtse area north east of Tawang in Arunachal. The patrolling party of Chinese soldiers had come forward showing an aggressive attitude during patrolling. Then the Indian soldiers, giving a befitting reply, pushed back 300 Chinese soldiers.

More than 30 jawans were injured in the clash

– More than 30 soldiers have been injured due to a clash between Indo-China soldiers in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. 6 soldiers have been brought to Guwahati for treatment.

There was a clash on LAC in Tawang sector

According to media reports- On 9 December 2022, there was a clash with PLA soldiers near LAC in Tawang sector. Which the Indian soldiers fought strongly, and pushed the Chinese soldiers back.

According to sources, the commanders of both the armies resolved the matter through talks. In this area, both the armies have been claiming their respective claims on some parts. This dispute is going on since 2006.

In Arunachal Pradesh, China has once again done an unseemly act. According to our correspondent, Chinese troops tried to advance on the Line of Actual Control on 9 December. Indian soldiers gave a befitting reply to this. There is news of some soldiers being injured in this clash. Sources associated with the Indian Army say that soldiers from both sides have been injured and more soldiers have been injured from the Chinese side.

However, there is no report of any soldier’s death. Sources have confirmed that there was a clash between the soldiers of the two countries on the Line of Actual Control on 9 December. The skirmish took place in that part of the LAC, which China claims unfairly.

According to sources, some soldiers suffered fractures in the skirmish. He is being treated at a hospital in Guwahati. About 600 Chinese soldiers were present at the time of the incident.

There has been a clash between the soldiers of India and China in this area before. The clash took place 35 km northeast of Tawang in October last year. Then China tried to occupy the 17000 feet high peak. His attempt was foiled by the Indian soldiers. That area remains covered in snow till March.

Earlier in August 2000, there was a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the eastern Ladakh area. In October last year, Chinese and Indian soldiers came face to face on the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh itself. The matter was resolved through talks between the local commanders on both sides.

A similar incident took place on June 15, 2020, before the clash that took place on December 9. That incident took place in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. Then 20 Indian soldiers were killed and many others were injured in a clash with the People’s Liberation Army. Far more soldiers of the Chinese army had died.
