India believes in policy of social inclusion and innovation
In his remarks, Vaishnaw noted that India adheres to the inclusionary ethos. India’s sizeable population and free “public digital platforms,” including UPI and Aadhaar, have facilitated social and economic inclusion and encouraged innovation. The two campaigns that were launched today think in terms of humanitarian issues. “Solutions coming from India will not be solutions for the 1.4 billion people of the world, but for the next 5 billion people of the world who will transition from poverty to middle class,” Amitabh Kant remarked in front of the audience.
