Lord Krishna’s outfit would be incomplete without a bansuri or flute. For this purpose, you can use an original wooden flute or create one at home with a small stick or rolled cardboard. Decorate it with gold colour tapes, paints, and glitter.

Lord Krishna is well-known for his fondness of butter and would frequently steal butter from houses, earning him the moniker “Maakhan Chor.” This aspect of your child’s outfit can help him hold out this Janmashtami. You can also use a market-available earthen pot. Some are offered specifically for this purpose. Choose a lighter one that will be easier for children to handle.
