Former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy’s latest health update suggests he is currently stable. He is currently recuperating, Bengaluru’s Manipal Hospital said in a statement. As per the statement, the leader was admitted to the hospital on April 22 after he complained of exhaustion and weakness.
HD Kumaraswamy’s health update:
“Mr HD Kumaraswamy was admitted on April 22, 2023, evening to Manipal Hospital, old airport Road Bengaluru under care of Dr Satyanarayana Mysore. He is admitted with symptoms of exhaustion and generalised weakness. All relevant medical tests and treatment is being carried out. He is medically stable and is recuperating,” read the statement by the Manipal Hospital.
JDS releases statement
HD Kumaraswamy was hospitalized on Saturday night following fever and fatigue. JD(S) said in a statement that the constant campaigning in the heat had affected the veteran leader’s health. The statement stated that he would start campaigning as soon as his physician gives a go-ahead. Sources have shared that he might be discharged by Sunday evening.
Kumaraswamy has been at the forefront of JDS campaigns ahead of the May 10 Assembly Elections in Karnataka.
