The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, on Tuesday announced that by March 2021, the state will be able to provide approximately 10 to 15 thousands job to the youths who are on job hunting. The announcement came during CM Soren’s two day visit to Santhal Pragna’s Dumka district. He also said that adressing the issue of unemployement caused by the pandemic is one of the top most priorities of the state government.
“Amid the pandemic era, addressing the issue of unemployment is the top priority of the government. The dawn of the new year will bring a smile to the face of unemployed,” he said.
According to an India Today report, the official announcement for the vacancies is most likely will be made on December 29 to mark two years of Hemant Soren government.
However, the BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has accused Hemant Soren’s government of deceiving the youth and unemployed people of Jharkhand, saying that he threw out people agitating for jobs.
“When the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) had promised 1 lakh jobs every year, why have their words fallen aflat? CM Soren promises to offer jobs to the unemployed and orders to throw out those agitating for jobs. How did he deal with police agitating for their confirmation, wage revision and renewal? How did he deal with the successful candidates of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission camping in Moradabadi ground?”, asked Prakash.
