A massive fire broke out in Ashirwad Tower in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. There was chaos in the entire building due to the fire. According to Dhanbad’s SSP Sanjeev Kumar, 15 people have died in this accident while the rescue work is going on. DC Dhanbad Sandeep Kumar confirmed over the phone that the total death toll is 15, including 11 women, 3 children and 1 man.
A massive fire broke out in Ashirwad Tower near Shakti Mandir in Bank Mod police station area of the city on Tuesday evening. After which there was panic among the people.
This fire gradually took a frightening form. Even after all the efforts of the fire brigade, the fire could not be controlled till now. The information about how many people are trapped in Ashirwad Tower has not been found yet. The fire in the building was visible from a distance.
CM Soren expressed grief
Regarding this incident, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren expressed grief over the incident. CM Soren said that I myself am looking into the whole matter.
Fire started from sparks during worship
Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad, says that during some worship going on in the Aashirwad apartment, a spark broke out. The number of casualties can be ascertained only after the completion of the rescue operation. Although the SSP had confirmed that the death toll was above 14.
There was a fire in the clinic two days ago
Two days ago, there was a fire in the Hajra clinic of Bank Mod police station area of the city itself. In the incident in which 5 people died due to suffocation. After this, now a case of massive fire has come to the fore in Ashirwad Tower.
19 shops burnt to ashes
Apart from this, there was news of fire from Dhanbad on Monday also. A massive fire broke out in the Kumardhubi market of Dhanbad on Monday morning. In no time, this fire spread to many shops one after the other. Due to its grip, 19 shops were gutted.
