All schools in Jharkhand have been closed by the authorities till 14th of June due to the scorching heat. Earlier the schools were suppose to be open by the coming Monday, but the department has issued a circulatr saying that the Holidays have been extended due the extreme weather conditions. All the Government and Private schools will be closed till further notice.

‘There will be no relief from the heat in coming days’
Meanwhile the Met Department also said that there might be no relief from the heat in the coming days. The weather might remain the same for the coming weeks. The city has recorded a temperature of 38 degrees for the last many days. Seeing this extreme situation, the Education Department has decided to take the step for the children to prevent them from falling sick. Their missed studies will be taken care of when the schools will get opened after the weather become fine.
