JioFiber is bringing multiple OTT platforms under one umbrella with its new entertainment plans. At just Rs 100, JioFiber postpaid customers will be able to avail these services. In addition, the company is also planning to do away with its installation fees.
The new JioFiber Entertainment plans can be purchased at the Rs 100 and Rs 200. While the Rs 100 plan allows users to choose up to 6 OTT apps, the Rs 200 plan gives them access to 14 OTT apps.
Both plans support multiple screens and the apps included are Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sonyliv, Voot, Sunnxt, Discovery+, Hoichoi, Altbalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate, ShemarooMe, Universal+, Voot Kids and JioCinema.
JioFiber Entertainment Plans
The new entertainment plan will be an extension of the Rs 399 or Rs 699 plan. You will have to first buy any of these plans and then take an entertainment plan of Rs 100 per month and with this users will get subscription of six OTT apps.
JioFiber Entertainment Plus Plan
If you want access to more apps then you can go with Entertainment Plus plan, which will come at Rs 200 per month and provide access to 14 OTT apps. The 14 apps include Disney Hotstar, Zee5, Sonyliv, Voot, Sunnxt, Discovery+, Hoichoi, Altbalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate, ShemarooMe, Universal+, Voot Kids, JioCinema. These plans are available for JioFiber postpaid customers. So if you are a prepaid JioFiber customer, then you have to convert to a postpaid customer first. If you are buying an entertainment plan from the company then you can also claim Jio set-top box (STB).
The new plans will be effective from April 22, 2022 and will be available to both new and existing JioFiber users. Those who only have JioFiber (no set-top box) will also be able to make use of the zero-entry benefit that lets them join the service without any extra initial cost of gateway router, set-top box and installation.
