Joyful Reactions of Pilgrims
Pilgrims are soo happy after this. One of the Pilgrim said, “I can’t describe my happiness. It is bigger that any happiness of life. Allah has called me. My Dua is to seek Allah’s blessing for everyone. It is now easier as we can go directly from Srinagar and need not go to Delhi.”
Early in the morning, pilgrims began arriving at the Haj House, which is located in the Bemina suburb of Srinagar. Before 8.30 am, when the first batch of pilgrims was supposed to report, they had already arrived at the Haj House. The second batch was due to report at 11:00 a.m.
Government’s Special Arrangements
The government has made special arrangements for the pilgrims’ transportation from the Haj House to the airport, as well as for foreign exchange, luggage clearance, and additional support for elderly and disabled pilgrims. Families escorted pilgrims to the Haj House, where they said a tearful goodbye to their loved ones. The special green buses that are organized to take pilgrims from the Haj House to the airport are only open to pilgrims.
