J&K: In a terrorist incident that happened on Sunday in the Pingelan neighbourhood of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, one police officer was killed and another CRPF member was hurt.
In order to protect the minority community, the terrorists started shooting at a CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police guard post.

Following the terrorist incident, security forces have sealed off the area.

Omar Abdullah expressed condolences to the family
Omar Abdullah, a former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, denounced the incident and stated, “I extend my condolences to the family of the J&K police officer who lost his life today while performing his job while denouncing this act. My best wishes are also sent to the injured CRPF members for a quick recovery.”
