JNU

JNU: At the Jawaharlal Nehru University, a fresh controversy has broken out over anti-Brahmin graffiti that was painted on the building’s walls. A number of faculty members’ doors as well as the walls of the second and third floors of the school of language and literature have offensive slogans painted on them.

In an attempt to get the JNU administration to take action against those responsible, the BJP’s student union, the ABVP, alleged that the Left-leaning students had encouraged the vandalism. The walls were allegedly painted with anti-Brahmin and anti-Baniya slurs, according to students, whose images were extensively circulated on social media.
