The difficulties of Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra, have increased. Now he will be prosecuted for the murder of farmers. There is an allegation on him that during the agitation in Lakhimpur Kheri, he had rammed an SUV on the farmers. This incident took place on October 3 last year. Actually, the accused Ashish had appealed to the court that his name should be removed in this case.
But the court rejected his appeal. The court will frame charges against him as well as all the accused on Tuesday.
Last year farmers were agitating against the agricultural laws in Lakhimpur Kheri
Significantly, on October 3 last year, farmers were agitating against the agricultural laws in Lakhimpur Kheri. It is alleged that at that time Ashish Mishra had offered his Mahindra Thar SUV to the farmers. Four farmers had died in this. After this, the enraged farmers also allegedly killed the driver and two BJP workers.
It is said that a few days before the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, Ashish Mishra’s father, Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra had threatened the farmers to end the agitation soon. He had said, ‘If the movement does not end, he will see the farmers in two minutes.’
Supreme Court intervened in this matter and the police arrested Ashish Mishra
After this, the Supreme Court intervened in this matter and the police arrested Ashish Mishra. On April 18 this year, the Supreme Court rejected Ashish Mishra’s bail application and asked him to surrender within a week.
The Supreme Court had said in this case that there was no proper and effective hearing of the victims in the Allahabad High Court. There is little evidence in this case either.
