Karnataka: Anger erupted outside the government hospital in Tirumakudalu Narasipura, Karnataka’s Mysuru, when a 20-year-old girl was killed by a leopard on Thursday evening.

Incident in detail
Meghana, a final-year B Com student at T Narsipur’s government college, was identified as the victim. Meghana was sitting outside her residence on Thursday, December 1, when the incident occurred. A leopard rushed on her and grabbed her by the throat.
She suffered severe injuries and was fighting for her life in the hospital before succumbing to her wounds.

Villagers protest
Villagers were enraged and protested in front of the hospital, demanding that the local MLA, district in-charge minister, and forest officials solve the situation.
