Karnataka Elections 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came under further attack from Congress on Saturday, who claimed the saffron party was planning to “eliminate” party president Mallikarjun Kharge and his family. AICC representative for Karnataka, Randeep Singh Surjewala, charged BJP leaders with plotting against Kharge at a press conference held in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Mallikarjun Kharge was the target of a plot- Surjewala
According to Surjewala, “BJP leaders are currently hatching a plan to kill Mallikarjun Kharge and his family.” Surjewala claimed that Mallikarjun Kharge was the target of a plot without mentioning the “blue-eyed boy” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “BJP finds it difficult to accept Kharge’s birth into a Dalit household. Mallikarjun Kharge was mocked by PM Modi, Surjewala claimed.

On May 10, 2023, Karnataka Assembly elections will be conducted to choose all 224 members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.
