Kolkata Rape Case: Now the main accused in the Kolkata RG Kar Medical College and Hospital brutal rape and murder case of a trainee doctor, Sanjay Roy, says his victim was already dead by the time he, along with other accused, entered the seminar hall where he was apparently later found to be in the company of the deceased. The evidence was revealed from the lie detector test by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), conducting the investigation.
Lie Detector Test Reveals Inconsistencies in Roy’s Claims
Roy, who had earlier admitted to the crime as per Kolkata police, has now denied the charges, pleading innocence and claiming that he is being framed. But sources claimed the polygraph test caught several false and unconvincing replies given by Roy. Sources, available with The Times of India, claimed that Roy was appearing quite unnerved and jittery during the test. He was found most uneasy when he was confronted with evidences by the CBI officials.
CBI Reveals Roy’s Perverse Tendencies and Addictions
During the interrogation, Roy tried to pass off several alibis claiming to be horrified by the discovery of the already dead victim. However investigators found large loopholes in his excuses. Notably, Roy could not account for the injuries on his face or to explain ‘what he was doing in the building where the crime was committed. Moreover, he was seen entering the premises of the hospital in CCTV footage at 4:03 a.m. on August 9, and his Bluetooth headset was found at the scene of the crime.
The psychoanalytic profiling of Roy by the CBI has come up with a shocking picture wherein he is “pervert and severely addicted to pornography” apart from exhibiting animal instincts. All this profiling and evidence continues to point at his involvement in the heinous crime despite his claims of innocence.
Authorities Stay Focused on Uncovering the Truth
Roy’s changing version of the narrative has sent out clear signals to the top brass that he may be trying to influence the investigations. His recent statements to jail guards and in court, where he claimed to know nothing about the commission of the crime, did little to allay these concerns. The CBI and Kolkata police maintain a hawk’s eye as the investigation continues to unravel the truth behind this heinous murder in view of getting justice for the victim.
