As per the administration’s statement, a landslide from a hill close to the Patalganga Langsi tunnel in Chamoli has closed the Badrinath-Joshimath route. The administration is working to get traffic moving again and fix the road as soon as possible. These days, heavy rains are causing havoc in many districts of Uttarakhand. Because of the intense rain, mountains are continually tumbling down into roadways, creating landslides.
