Following the rising crime in Delhi and two shocking incidents on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have raised questions raising concern over law and order. Two leaders have reacted by tweeting about the murder of an eight-year-old girl in Khichadipur and the injured brother in an attempt to save her sister from sickness.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that I am very concerned about the murder of an eight-year-old girl in Khichadipur and the attack on a 17-year-old boy in Kalkaji. The law and order situation of Delhi is in a very poor condition, I request the Hon’ble Home Minister and the Lieutenant Governor to take appropriate action after taking cognizance of the situation.
Manish Sisodia has also demanded strict punishment for the accused in the murder of the girl child in Khichadipur. He said, I am hurt by the killing of the girl in Khichdipur 6 block of Delhi. The victim met the family and assured them that the case would be taken to the fast track court. They will appoint the greatest lawyers and try to get the killers sentenced to death.
