BJP Delegation Urges Election Commission to Ensure Integrity and Security in Vote Counting

Goyal emphasized the necessity for all officials involved in the counting process to be thoroughly familiar with every detail of the prescribed procedures and to adhere strictly to Election Commission protocols. He stated, “We have requested that every official engaged in the counting process be fully conversant with the minutest details of the prescribed process and engage diligently with all EC protocols.”

The second request focused on ensuring the safety and security of the electoral process during the counting and the announcement of results. The BJP delegation stressed the importance of maintaining a secure environment to uphold the integrity of the election results.

The third point raised by the delegation was a call for the Election Commission to recognize and address systematic attempts to undermine the electoral process. They urged the EC to take stringent action against those responsible for any such activities that could compromise the fairness and transparency of the elections.

The BJP delegation’s meeting with the Election Commission underscores the party’s commitment to a fair and transparent electoral process, emphasizing the need for diligence and security during the critical vote-counting phase.
