Haridwar Kumbh Mela: Devotees will have to bring the RTPCR negative report of Covid-19 up to 72 hours in advance for the Ganga bath at Mahakumbh, which will run till 30 April.
On the royal bath of Mahakumbh, passengers should not have any problem in reaching the ghats from the parking lot. For this, a shuttle service of 700 buses will be operated on 12 and 14 April. The buses will be operated by the fair police. This time, passengers will not have to walk very far to bathe.
Kumbh Mela officer Deepak Rawat said that preparations for the fair administration are complete. Devotees coming to Haridwar will be followed by Corona’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The mask is mandatory with the Covid Negative Report. Shells are built for physical distance on the ghats. Booths and teams have been set up for sanitization. Mela IG Sanjay Gunjyal informed that police and paramilitary forces have started checking at all the borders of the district by deploying them.
