The Maharashtra government has imposed a night curfew in the entire state from 28th March as the state was witnessing a severe surge in the COVID-19 cases in the recent past.
Night curfew to be imposed in Maharashtra from the night of 28th March. A separate order in this regard will be issued by the Disaster management and rehabilitation department soon,” said the Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Office.
The CM Office also directed that all the Malls are will remain closed from 8 PM to 7 AM and the violators would get into deep trouble.
Earlier today Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray chaired a meeting with all district collectors and taken the stock of the COVID-19 situation in their areas.
Nagpur on Friday saw its highest peak ever in the COVID cases as the city reported 4,095 new people infected with the deadly virus. Till now Nagpur district’s caseload stands at 2,11,162 with 4,819 deaths and 1,69,407 recoveries, while the active cases stands at 36,936.
On the other hand Maharashtra have the total case tally of 26 lakhs with 53,795 deaths.
