A heart-wrenching incident has come to the fore in the national capital Delhi. A man was murdered on the charges of stealing a mobile phone. This is the incident of Buddha Vihar area of North Delhi. Where a 26-year-old man was beaten to death by a group of people after he was caught stealing a mobile phone from a godown. After this incident, the police have arrested all the four by paining the case.
On this matter, the police said that they had received a PCR call on January 12 regarding a dead body lying on the road in Budh Vihar. The victim, identified as Deepu, had injury marks on his back, legs and hands. The post mortem revealed that Deepu was murdered.
According to media reports, it was revealed during investigation that on January 10, Deepu and Naveen had gone to a godown located in Shyam Colony of Budh Vihar. This warehouse belonged to Sudeep Gupta. Apart from this, three others Rajeev Gupta, Kaushal and Vishnu were sleeping in the godown. Deepu went inside the godown to steal the mobile phone, while Naveen stood guard outside. But the three men caught Deepu and beat him with sticks and plastic pipes. After this, the godown owner Sudeep Gupta also joined in the beating.
Police arrested all four
Deepu died after a fierce beating and his body was thrown on the road. Police said that all four have been arrested and the weapons used in the crime have also been recovered. At the same time, the police said that on further investigation, it was found that Deepu was a drug addict and had last come home on January 10, two days before his murder.
3 arrested in cow smuggling case
On the other hand, three people including a head constable of Delhi Police have been arrested from Haryana’s Nuhan district for their involvement in cow smuggling. Police said on Saturday that two cows and a four-wheeler have been recovered from them. All three were produced in the city court, from where they have been sent to judicial custody. The accused have been identified as Amit Kumar, a resident of Delhi, Yogesh Kumar Meena of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan and Aamir of Nuh district.
