Man says ‘India will turn into a Muslim country in 5-7 years;’ case registered

New Delhi: Speaking at a panchayat sponsored by the United Hindu Front in north-east Delhi, a guy who claims himself as a prominent BJP leader called for violence and made insulting remarks about a particular community. One of the organisers of the panchayat conducted in New Delhi, Jai Bhagwan Goyal, who identifies himself as a senior BJP politician, made contentious comments during the event.

Jai Bhagwan Goyal addressed the audience and remarked, “No Muslim leader has denounced PFI because all Muslims are the same. India will turn into a Muslim country in 5-7 years if we don’t take to the streets brandishing a trishul (trident). In addition to this, he urged everyone to work for a Hindu homeland and advocated for an economic boycott of Muslims. Ram Avtar Gupta, the Delhi BJP treasurer, and Satyanarayan Jatiya, a former Union Minister, were among those in attendance at the programme when these offensive remarks were made.

Delhi Police faced a contempt petition

Jai Bhagwan Goyal is the subject of an investigation by the Delhi Police for uttering incendiary remarks. Top officials responded to the question of whether Delhi Police will take action against the organisers due to hate speech by stating that they are currently reviewing the speech and are in the process of filing a FIR. It is important to remember that the Delhi Police was recently censured by the Supreme Court for taking too long to file the FIR and chargesheet in the case of the use of filthy language in the Dharam Sansad hate speech case. Following the filing of a chargesheet in the Delhi Dharam Sansad hate speech case, the Delhi Police faced a contempt petition, which the highest court dismissed last week.
