A 25-year-old man stabbed to death by the father and brothers of a girl in Delhi’s Jaffrabad, police said on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Salman, a resident of Brahmapuri
Sharing the information, a senior police officer said that at around 5:15 pm on Monday evening, information was received that a young man was stabbed to death in street number 2 near Kalyan Cinema, Chauhan Bangar in Jaffrabad area.
On reaching the spot, it was found that Salman was stabbed on the neck and chest and he died on the spot.
“Preliminary investigation has revealed that Salman was friends with a girl for the past two years. However, the girl’s family was opposed to the relationship. On Monday, the girl’s father Manzoor, along with his brothers Mohsin and a minor, attacked Salman when he was riding a bike.
“A murder case is being registered. Efforts are on to trace them,” the officer said.
