LPG Price: Starting from Wednesday, Indian Oil, BPCL, and HPCL, the oil marketing companies, have increased the domestic LPG cylinder price by Rs 50 per cylinder. Furthermore, the price of commercial liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders has been raised by Rs 350.5 per unit, marking the second hike in commercial LPG cylinder rate this year. On January 1, the commercial cylinder prices were increased by Rs 25 per cylinder.
How much has LPG price increased?
The price of commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi has increased by 19.8% from Rs 1,769 to Rs 2,119.50 per unit. On the other hand, domestic LPG cylinders will now cost Rs 1,103 per unit, reflecting a 4.7% hike from Rs 1057. This recent hike of Rs 350.50 is the second largest increase after the Rs 350 per cylinder weighing 19 kg hike in 2014. The commercial LPG cylinder price has now gone back above Rs 2100 per unit for the first time since June 2022.

- Patna: Rs 1,201.00
- Trivandrum: Rs 1,062.00
- Kolkata: Rs 1,079.00
- Mumbai: Rs 1,052.50
- Chennai: Rs 1,068.50
- Gurgaon: Rs 1,061.50
- Noida: Rs 1,050.50.
Domestic gas cylinder costs vary from state to state as a result of various state taxes. On the first of every month, these rates are often changed. Furthermore, homes are permitted to acquire up to 12 residential cylinders at discounted prices each year. After this point, any future purchases will require payment of additional money.
