PM Modi: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought attention to the problem of couples choosing to have destination weddings abroad and stated that individuals have to be urged to “Wed in India” in order to keep money in the nation.

Prime Minister’s Address at Khodaldham Trust Cancer Hospital

Almost speaking at the Khodaldham Trust Cancer Hospital’s groundbreaking ceremony in Gujarat’s Amreli city, the prime minister also urged citizens to support the growth of domestic travel.

According to PM Modi, his administration has established over 30 new hospitals to treat cancer patients and made sure that medications are readily available at reasonable costs. These actions are intended to ensure that individuals do not encounter obstacles when receiving cancer treatment.

Promoting Early Detection with Ayushman Arogya Mandirs

According to him, in order to aid in the early detection of the illness, more than 1.5 lakh “Ayushman Arogya Mandirs” (health facilities) have also been constructed at the village level. Speaking to the assembly of the Leuva Patidar community, which oversees the management of the Shri Khodaldham Trust-Kagavad, Prime Minister Modi stated, “Is it appropriate to hold marriage abroad? Can’t the marriage be held in our country? How much of India’s wealth goes out.”

PM added,  “You should create an environment that this disease of getting married abroad does not enter your community. Why shouldn’t the marriage take place at the feet of Ma Khodal (Goddess revered by the community). I would say ‘Wed In India’, like Made in India, Marry in India.”

Ayushman Bharat Yojana Impact

More than six crore people have benefited from the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, according to the prime minister, with many of them being cancer sufferers. According to him, the government has also established 10,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras, which offer medications at a savings of up to 80%. He said that there will be 25,000 PM Jan Aushadhi Kendras.

Patients have saved ₹ 30,000 crore thanks to the affordable drugs that are now available, according to PM Modi. He claimed that lakhs of patients have benefited from government price regulations on cancer medications. Gujarat has demonstrated significant advances in the health sector, according to PM Modi, who also commended the state.

Leuva Patidar Community Acknowledgment

In addition, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the Leuva Patidar community on the Khodaldham Trust’s upcoming 14th anniversary. He said the trust has changed the lives of countless numbers of people by providing services in the fields of health, education, and agriculture.

He made a nine-point appeal to the community, asking them to work on saving water, promoting digital transactions, cleaning, promoting made-in-India items, promoting domestic tourism, promoting natural farming, using millets, maintaining fitness, and abstaining from narcotics and other addictions.
