MCD Elections: Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, said that several names were missing from the voter list in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. All MCD election 2022 LIVE updates can be found here.
People outside the polling station have complained about their names not being on the voter list, according to Sisodia.

“I am going to complain to EC,” the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi
“People are angry about their names not on voter list. I am going to complain to EC against conspiracy,” claimed the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
In the high-stakes Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election, voting is underway in Delhi to elect members to 250 wards. A total of 1.45 crore persons are eligible to vote. The ballots will be counted on December 7, and there are 1,349 candidates running in the election.
Earlier in the day, Manish Sisodia urged Delhi residents to vote in record numbers and to work together to keep the city clean and beautiful.

Sisodia’s advice to voters
Speaking to the media on election day, Sisodia advised the public to vote intelligently if they want a clean Delhi.
“I request all the 1.5 crore voters to keep this in mind while voting that the main responsibility of the MCD is to keep Delhi clean, sanitation issues, landfill, corruption, parking mess, stray animals and to build schools and hospitals among others,” Sisodia said.
