MEA Employee Honey-Trapped by Pakistan

A person working on a contract basis in the Indian Finance Ministry has been arrested on charges of espionage. On the input ofQ IB, Ghaziabad Police has arrested a person named Naveen Pal from Crossing Republic. He has sent many intelligence information and documents of India to the person present in Karachi, Pakistan.

During interrogation, he told that he came in contact with a girl through social media and started talking to her on WhatsApp. The girl told Naveen that she was a resident of Bareilly, whereas he was a person from Karachi, Pakistan.

Actually, that girl had told Naveen her name as Anjali. Virtually the number of WhatsApp was of Bareilly only, but when the agency extracted the IP address of that number, it turned out to be of Karachi. In this case, a woman from Alwar is also on the radar of the agency. Money was transferred from the Paytm of a woman from Alwar to Naveen’s account.

Police registered FIR in this case

According to the FIR, Naveen Pal, who works in Ghaziabad, works as an MTS in the Ministry of Finance on contract basis. He had come in contact with a suspected woman through social media and shared with her information of strategic importance having an adverse impact on national security and interests, confidential documents likely to affect friendly relations with other nations There is apprehension.

When the police interrogated the accused person in custody, he started talking here and there. When the police searched his mobile phone, he had sent many confidential documents to a number saved with a secret name. After going through its backup, it was found that many confidential documents including Indian Finance Ministry, G20 were sent in it. Police has arrested the accused in this case.
