When Pakistan’s NSA blamed India for the Lahore bomb blasts, Arindam Bagchi said, “Starting baseless propaganda against India is not new to Pakistan. It would be better for Pakistan to correct its position with the same force and take concrete action against terrorism.”
Bagchi further said that the international community is well aware of Pakistan when it comes to the issue of terrorism. He said it was accepted by none other than his own leadership, which glorifies notorious terrorists like Osama bin Laden as martyrs.
The ministry spokesperson said that our embassies are running in Kabul and Kandahar. We are closely monitoring the security situation in Afghanistan and are also looking after the safety of all Indian citizens present there.
At the same time, regarding fugitive businessmen Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi, Bagchi said that there is no fresh update in the ongoing legal proceedings regarding them. We are keeping an eye on this.
