In a shocking incident, a local BJP leader was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Govindpuri area. According to the Police, the victim was found with a bullet wound in the chest. The BJP Leader Nishant Garg was the Social Media In charge of Western U.P and was active in the party for the last five years. Nishant Garg’s wife said in a statement that her husband had committed suicide around Saturday morning. She also told the cops that her husband got into a scuffle with her late evening on Friday while he was drunk. To avoid more confrontation, she left for her Parents house around 3 am and came back around 6.30 in the morning and saw him lying in a pool of blood.

Police didn’t find any pistol near his body
After the cops reached the house, they couldn’t find any gun near his body. The victim’s wife handed over the cellphone and pistol to the investigation officer. Cops had also find a bottle of beer and a glass near his body. The cops have recorded the statement of the wife and are also trying to get the statements from the Neighbours and his party workers.
