Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually distributed over 1 lakh appointment letters to newly recruited individuals under the Rozgar Mela, signaling a commitment to robust employment generation. The event, conducted via video conferencing on Monday, also witnessed the foundation stone laying of Phase I of the integrated complex ‘Karmayogi Bhavan’ in New Delhi, aimed at fostering collaboration within Mission Karmayogi.
Celebrating Success Through Hard Work
Addressing the attendees virtually, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the youth and their families, emphasizing the significance of their hard work. “Today, more than 1 lakh youth have been given appointment letters for government jobs. You have achieved this success through hard work. I congratulate you all and your families very much,” he stated.
Transformative Transparency in Recruitment
PM Modi criticized previous governments for the prolonged job application process, citing delays and corruption. He highlighted the government’s commitment to transparency, stating, “Our government has made the recruitment process transparent. We try to finish the recruitment procedure within a set timeframe so that everyone gets an equal opportunity to showcase his capabilities.”
Equal Opportunities and Timely Processes
Expressing determination to provide equal opportunities, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s insistence on completing the recruitment process within stipulated timeframes. He assured that every youth now has faith in their ability to secure a position based on merit and hard work.
Capacity-Building Initiatives
PM Modi lauded the central government’s efforts in strengthening capacity-building initiatives, pointing to the foundation stone laid for an Integrated Training Complex in Delhi. “I am confident that the new training complex will further strengthen our capacity-building initiatives,” he remarked.
Empowering Youth in Nation-Building
Since 2014, the government has worked towards mainstreaming youth and involving them in nation-building endeavors, claimed the Prime Minister. He asserted that the government has provided 1.5 times more employment opportunities in the last 10 years compared to previous administrations.
Diverse Recruitments Across Ministries
Recruitments are underway across various Central Government Departments and State Governments/Union Territories, supporting the initiative. The new recruits will join different Ministries and Departments, including but not limited to the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Ministry of Railways.
