Karnataka: In the Karnataka village of Bhogapura, a Kiran training aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed into a field. The two jet’s pilots successfully escaped using parachute and are said to have landed without incident. As of right now, no fatalities have been reported. More information is awaited.
Tragic Incident Claims Lives near Hanumangarh
During a normal training sortie on Monday, an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 fighter jet crashed near Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, killing at least three people. The tragedy occurred today at 9:45 am, and as a result, an aircraft wreckage crashed on a home in Bahlol Nagar, Hanumangarh District, tragically resulting in the loss of three lives, according to a statement from the Indian Air Force. The IAF expressed regret for the fatalities and expressed its sympathies to the families of the deceased, saying that an inquiry has been launched to determine what caused the mishap.

The Air Force wrote in its tweet that, “A Kiran trainer aircraft of the IAF crashed near Chamrajnagar, Karnataka today, while on a routine training sortie. Both aircrew ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.”
Training Aircraft Faces Technical Issues
Due to technical difficulties experienced during the flight, a two-seater training aircraft in Karnataka was forced to make an emergency landing close to Sambra airport in Belagavi. The two pilots were transported to the Air Force hospital for treatment after suffering minor wounds. Around 9:30 am, the Redbird-branded aircraft took off from Sambra airfield and made a successful landing in a farm close to Honnihal hamlet. Fortunately, the lack of trees or other obstructions in the region averted a serious disaster.
