The Neemuch cops in Madhya Pradesh have arrested five members for allegedly raping a woman constable, an official said on Saturday. The incident had occurred earlier but the victim filed a complaint on 13 September.
The accused reportedly made videos of the gruesome act and threatened the survivor as well. The police investigated the case and arrested five persons, including the mother of the main accused, the official stated.
The victim has also claimed that the main accused’s mother threatened her and a relative of the accused also threatened to kill her and tried to extort money from her, she said.

The victim, who was earlier posted in Neemuch, is currently working in Indore district, the official said, adding that further probe is underway.
The constable became acquainted with the prime accused on Facebook and WhatsApp earlier this year in April and the two had been talking since, a police official said. The accused invited her to a birthday party where three men allegedly gangraped her.
