Mumbai: According to the police, well-known Mumbai builder Paras Porwal committed suicide on Thursday morning by jumping from the 23rd storey of the Shantikamal Cooperative Housing Society building close to Chinchpokli station.

Statement from Police
Police claim that 57-year-old Porwal leaped from his gym’s balcony. According to Dnyaneshwar Chavan, additional commissioner of police for the central region, Porwal allegedly committed suicide as a result of personal problems. Chavan claimed that although the builder left a message behind, he made no accusations.

The Kalachowkie police are looking into the situation, the officer continued.
Porwal had worked on numerous renovation projects for outdated structures in Mumbai’s Parel, Chinchpokli, and Byculla neighbourhoods.
