Today the two-day first All India State Ministers Annual Conference on the theme ‘Water Vision 2047’ has been organized in Bhopal. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) addressed the conference and said that India is doing unprecedented work in the direction of water security today. Virtually addressing the first national conference of state water ministers, PM Modi said that maximum work should be done on water under MNREGA.

Prime Minister Modi further said that today India is doing unprecedented work in water security and is also making unprecedented investments. The efforts of the states for water conservation will be very helpful in achieving the collective goals of the country. In such a situation, Water Vision @ 2047 is an important dimension of Amrit Yatra for the next 25 years. He said that the efforts of the government alone cannot achieve success in water conservation, for this the participation of people and civil organizations is also necessary.
In the first All India Annual State Ministers’ Conference on Water, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the idea of public participation for water conservation has to be awakened in the minds of the people. The more efforts we make in this direction, the more impact will be created. The country is making 75 Amrit Sarovars in every district and so far 25,000 Amrit Sarovars have been built.

Earlier, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel had informed that for the first time in the country, on January 5 and 6, Water Resources, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and Irrigation Ministers of all the states of the country will come together in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Have gathered and discussed it for two days.
