While 1922 people have died in train accidents in Maharashtra, 1558 people have died in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh has a shameful record in accidents at railway crossings. According to the report of the Center, Uttar Pradesh is on top in the clashes in the railway crossing. At the same time, Bihar is at number two and Madhya Pradesh is in third place.
In the figures revealed in 2020, the situation of rail accidents seems to have improved somewhat. According to the data, where there were 27,987 train accidents in 2019, there were 13,018 accidents in 2020. There are 9117 accidents in the accidents in 2020, in which either the passenger fell from the train or he came in front of the train at the crossing or other places. In such accidents, 8400 people have died across the country.
