Allahabad High Court Dismisses PIL Against Rahul Gandhi

On Monday, the Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that attempted to remove Rahul Gandhi from his position as a Member of Parliament (MP). The leader of the Congress is a British citizen, according to the petition. The petitioner requested that his plea be withdrawn.

The Congress leader is allegedly not entitled to be an MP under Article 84(A) of the Constitution since he is a British citizen, not an Indian, according to the PIL filed by BJP worker from Karnataka Vignesh Shishir.
