G20 Summit: The NEET SS 2023 examination, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi, has been postponed. The Board will announce the new examination dates soon, and these details will be available on the official NBE website, natboard.edu.in.
NEET SS 2023 Postponed
The NEET SS 2023 examination, initially planned for September 9 and 10, 2023, has been rescheduled. This change in dates is attributed to the 18th G20 Summit, scheduled to occur in Delhi from September 8 to 10, 2023. The NEET SS 2023 examination will adopt a computer-based test format, with different subject groups being assessed during either the morning or afternoon shifts on the scheduled exam days.
The official notice states, “in wake of the 18th G20 Summit scheduled to be held on 9th and 10th September 2023 in India and consequent travel restrictions which shall now be in place in Delhi from 8th September 2023 to 10th September 2023, the conduct of NEET-SS 2023, which was announced to be held on 9th and 10th September 2023 across the country, has been deferred.”
NEET-SS 2023 serves as the sole eligibility and entrance examination for admission to Super Specialty Courses for the academic session 2023-24. This encompasses all DM/MCh Courses across the nation, including those in private medical colleges, institutions, universities, and deemed universities, as well as DM/MCh courses offered at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions. However, it excludes Direct 6 Years DrNB Courses.

Each question paper for the NEET SS 2023 examination will comprise a total of 150 questions, and candidates will have 2.5 hours to complete the test.
