Nepal Plane Crash update: The families of four Ghazipur residents who died in a plane crash in Nepal will receive compensation of Rs 5 lakh each, the Yogi Aadityanath led Uttar Pradesh government announced on Tuesday.
The state government will also borne the expenses to bring their mortal remains to Ghazipur, according to the government.
Friends and residents of the Ghazipur area in Uttar Pradesh, Abhishek Kushwaha (25), Vishal Sharma (25), Anil Kumar Rajbhar (25) and Sonu Jaiswal (30) were four of the five Indians killed in the crash.

The Yeti Airlines’ aircraft , with 72 people on board, crashed into a gorge minutes before landing at the Pokhara airport on Sunday morning. The plane crashed on the bank of the Seti River, midway between the old and new airports in Pokhara, while trying to land. There were four crew members and a total of 68 passengers.
On Tuesday, Nepalese authorities started handing over to family members the bodies of those killed.
The number of verified dead has increased to 71 after two more bodies were found at the accident scene on Tuesday, according to Nepal Army spokesperson Narayan.
