The Saudi decision to do away with police clearance for visas will have an immediate positive impact on application processing times, tour operator management, and the number of documents that travellers must deal with.
A tweet from the Saudi embassy in India stated, “In view of the strong relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of India, the Kingdom has decided to exempt the Indian nationals from submitting a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).”
