New Delhi: According to reports, a Delhi-based YouTuber pair has been booked with honey trapping after allegedly extorting more than Rs 80 lakh from a 21-year-old businessman. Police claim that the couple threatened to file a bogus rape complaint against the businessman.
The victim, who owns an advertising agency, complained about the pair in August. However, the couple requested interim bail in court. Their petition was just dismissed, and earlier this week in Sector 50 police station, a FIR was filed against them.

What was the matter?
The complainant, a citizen of Badshahpur in Gurugram, claims that he made contact with a woman by the name of Naamra Qadir who lived in Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh. He once talked about a job possibility at a luxury hotel on Sohna Road in Gurugram.
The complainant said that a man named Virat, also known as Manish Beniwal, had attended their meeting and that he had paid Qadir Rs. 2.50 lakh for a business plan, but when he asked her for the results, she had instead presented him with a marriage proposal.
The 21-year-old thereafter became acquainted with the couple, and the complaint spent nights with Qadir and Virat, according to the police. During this time, the couple started recording their intimate interactions and using those to start extorting the businessman.
According to the complainant, Qadir threatened to accuse him of rape and used that threat to extract more than Rs 80 lakh from him.
