NIA raided over 50 places over ganster terrorist links, weapons seized

NIA yesterday conducted raided at 50 places in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi/NCR. According to the NIA, the purpose of this raid was to nab terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers sitting in India and abroad. As well as ending the nexus between the smugglers. In fact, taking cognizance of the two cases registered by the Delhi Police under UAPA, the NIA registered a case.

The investigation revealed that the gangsters sitting abroad and the gangsters lodged in different jails of India are running their own network of a different level and are continuously carrying out the crimes. Not only this, it was also revealed in the investigation that the links of these gangsters are also connected with terrorist organisations.

According to the NIA, recently, the process of committing sensational acts and threatening people for recovery was going on. Due to which fear was being created in the minds of the people. The investigation also revealed that these gangsters were using cyber space to create panic among the people on a large scale and also to publicize their incidents.

It has also been found in the investigation that the gangsters who have fled abroad are operating from there, such as running their gang from abroad including Pakistan, Canada, Malaysia, Australia. These gangs were also raising funds to carry out such criminal activities through smuggling of drugs and weapons.

To eliminate their entire network, NIA raided 50 places in Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar Sahib, Moga, Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Mohali in Punjab, East Gurugram, Bhiwani. Raids were also conducted in Yamunanagar, Sonipat and Jhajjar districts of Haryana, Hanumangarh and Ganganagar districts of Rajasthan and Dwarka, Outer North, North East, North West and Shahdara in Delhi/NCR.

Apart from this, the locations of Goldie Brar (Canada), Lawrence Bishnoi, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Varinder Pratap alias Kala Rana, Kala Jathedi, Vikram Brar, Gaurav Patial alias Lucky Patial (who was earlier arrested in Armenia), Neeraj Bawania But it’s red. NIA recovered 6 pistols, a revolver, a shotgun and ammunition during the search. Apart from this, NIA also seized drugs, cash, incriminating documents, electronic devices, benami property papers, threats letters.
