Appearance at Rouse Avenue Court

The CM’s custody expired on Monday, when he was produced at Rouse Avenue Court. Kejriwal has been running Delhi from behind bars, with his wife Sunita Kejriwal giving his Cabinet colleagues his orders. ED counsel SV Raju stated, “Kejriwal has been non cooperative… he didn’t give us his passwords.”

Arvind Kejriwal Appears in Rouse Avenue Court Before Probe Agency Detention Ends

Before his probe agency detention ended this morning, Kejriwal was produced in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court. The Delhi government claimed that Kejriwal had been obstructive and had been providing evasive answers.

Following Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and his erstwhile deputy Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal is the third AAP leader to be detained in connection with the liquor policy case. He called it a “political conspiracy” to have him arrested.

Delhi’s Excise Policy

The excise policy was implemented in an attempt to restructure Delhi’s spirits industry; however, it was abandoned when Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena directed an investigation into the programme’s purported flaws. The AAP’s election campaigns are purportedly funded by bribe money, and the ED believes the policy offered a large profit margin.
