North India cold wave: The people of Delhi took to Twitter to share their struggles while driving to work in the national capital due to the poor visibility conditions as the thick layer of dense fog enveloped Northern India. Delhiites urged people to drive carefully and slowly while describing the foggy scene of early-morning roads with poor visibility.Freezing temperatures are being experienced in many states, making it difficult for people to carry out their daily tasks. Many people have posted pictures of the chilly weather on social media. Additionally, many people have shared amusing posts about it.
Delhiites are showing their sense of humour
However, despite the heavy fog, Delhi residents maintained their sense of humour, and the residents of Delhi-NCR made light of Delhi’s extreme cold. “Will not be surprised if snow falls in Delhi,” one user commented. Another user commented, “Delhi NCR should be announced a “Hill Station” now!”

One Twitter user, @sagarcasm, subtly changed the names of Indian cities to reflect how cold they are in a recent tweet that has since gone viral on tweeter. In his tweet threads he wrote,”How cold is it? A thread.” Continuing this he wrote,”It’s so cold in Bengal that Kolkata is now called Coldkata.” In a second tweet, he shared he changed the name of Kanpur and said, “It’s so cold in Uttar Pradesh that Kanpur is now called Kaanp-pur.” The Twitter user did the same with other cities.
