On the 44th Foundation Day celebrations of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is committed to get rid of corruption, nepotism and law and order challenges in the country. Slamming the people with ‘baadshahi’ mindset who he claimed insulted the poor and the backward, he said that BJP will the heart of every citizen of India. The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that BJP will storm into power in 2024 assembly elections.
PM Modi’s says BJP draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman
PM Modi said that BJP draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman, the Hindu god who is revered for his devotion, strength and courage.
“Today India, like Lord Hanuman, is much more prepared in fighting challenges. Our party takes inspiration from Hanumanji. We can be tough at times like Lord Hanuman, but we are also compassionate and humble,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi attacks Congress
The Prime Minister also condemned Congress and other political parties for promoting nepotism, dynasty, casteism and regionalism. He said that the BJP is ensuring the representation of a new culture.
PM Modi further said that the other parties have been battling existential crisis and resorting to levelling allegations against the BJP, adding they are full of frustration. He added that the support of women, tribals and poor will continue to make the lotus bloom.
“Today, they have become so desperate that they have openly started saying ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi’ (your grave will be dug),” he said.
He said, “The BJP has taken birth from the womb of democracy, and has been nourished and nurtured with the nectar of democracy.”
PM Modi further urged the party workers to participate in the week-long social harmony campaign that is scheduled to take place from April 6 to April 14.
