Pakistan violates ceasefire in LoC, One Indian soldier is martyred

Pakistan opened heavy fire along the Line of Control in Naugam sector of North Kashmir and Shahpur Kirani, Poonch district. A soldier of the Indian Army is also martyred in Naugam. While two other military personnel were injured. The martyr has been identified as Bhupendra Singh and the injured as Lansnayak Venkatesh and Sepoy Shahjal.

In Poonch, Pak army targeted about a dozen villages adjacent to LoC. Many houses have been damaged by this and many cattle have also been killed. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan at both places.

10 Baloch battalions of the Pakistani Army started firing mortars at residential areas along the forward posts of the Indian Army in Shahpur Kirani and Kasba sector at around nine in the morning.

When the Indian Army retaliated, the Pakistani troops increased the firing range and started firing mortars in several residential areas including Deogwar, Malty, Dalan, Dokdi near the Line of Control. Many houses in the village near the Line of Control were damaged due to the shelling. At the same time, many cattle were also killed and many were injured in the area.
