On March 7, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jammu and Kashmir for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370. He launched 53 developmental projects worth 6,400 crores in the fields of agriculture and tourism. He also interacted with young entrepreneurs at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and addressed a public gathering. PM Modi said that the people of Kashmir are enjoying their new freedom and opportunities.
Pakistani YouTube Channel Shows Dissatisfaction
A Pakistani YouTube channel called “Naila Pakistani Reaction” shared their views on PM Modi’s visit to Kashmir after abrogation of article 370 . They interviewed some people on the streets and asked them about Kashmir. One person said that Pakistan cannot invest in Kashmir and only uses it for political gain. He said that Shahbaz Sharif has become the Prime Minister, Imran Khan is in jail, and he is not being released.

The reporter asked another person a question, mentioning that India has provided employment to people in Kashmir, offering 1000 government jobs, laptops, and books. What have we given to our ‘Azad Kashmir’?
In response, the person said, “We have given nothing. Those with 30 seats form the government had bring down those with 50 seats. On the same question, another person replied that here, the price of oil is 250 to 300 rupees per liter, and there is not even 100 rupees there. He wondered why Kashmiris did not notice this difference while queuing for flour. The person further stated that we have sacrificed by cutting our own hands and giving it ourselves. All this is the fault of the Pakistani government.
