Parliament Attack: Six individuals have been taken into custody in relation to the December 13, 2001, anniversary of the Parliament security breach incident. Every accused who was detained has been placed under police custody for seven days.

During Zero Hour, two men, Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, leaped from the public gallery into the Lok Sabha chamber, spewed slogans and yellow smoke from canisters, and were eventually overpowered by the MPs.

In the meantime, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pratap Simha, who approved the visitor passes for the two men who broke security to enter the House, will be interviewed by the Delhi Police Special Cell, which is looking into the matter.
Seven Days in Custody
Mahesh Kumawat was detained by the Delhi Police on Saturday. He is the sixth accused in the case of the security breach in Parliament. This happened after authorities established that Kumawat was involved in the conspiracy as a whole. After that, he was taken into custody for seven days to be questioned. The police found burned portions of the accused’s cell phones, clothing, and shoes on Sunday after breaking into the Parliament. All of the accused’s phones were linked to the mastermind, Lalit Jha, according to the police. He set the phones on fire after breaking every single one of them.
Dramatic Tactics Revealed
According to Delhi Police officials speaking to news agency PTI on Saturday, the arrested accused disclosed that they considered self-immolation after covering their bodies with fire-resistant gel in order to create more dramatic scenes without endangering themselves or drawing attention from the media. They said that they eventually abandoned this plan and decided to use smoke canisters to leap into the Lok Sabha chamber. According to an official, they also thought about handing out pamphlets inside the Parliament before deciding to carry out the plan on Wednesday.
Visitor Pass Approval
The statement of BJP MP Pratap Simha, who approved the visitor passes for the two men who broke security to enter the House, will be recorded by the Delhi Police Special Cell, which is looking into the matter. The accused were taken by the investigators to several locations late on Friday night where they met and plotted the breach. In order to replicate the breach that happened on the anniversary of the 2001 attacks, the police will probably ask for permission from Parliament.
Unemployment Blamed for Parliament Breach
Rahul Gandhi told reporters that, “The main issue in the country is unemployment. Due to the policies of PM Modi, the youth of the country are not getting employment and the reason behind (this incident) is unemployment and inflation.” The Congress and other members of the “INDIA” bloc, according to the BJP, have been engaging in “petty politics” in relation to the December 13 Parliament security breach incident in order to protect those who were involved.
Press Conference Claims
Shehzad Poonawalla, the national spokesperson for the BJP, claimed during a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Delhi that the opposition ‘INDIA’ bloc parties are supporting the people who violated security because they are beginning to reveal their connections with them. Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla denied on Saturday that the suspension of thirteen opposition members was related to their demonstrations against the most recent security breach. He also reminded the House that in the past, when breaches had occurred, the House had shown outstanding solidarity and a united front.
Action Plan Initiated
After opposition protests interrupted Parliamentary sessions, Birla sent a letter to every member of parliament stating that he had formed a “high-powered committee” to examine all facets of security in the Parliament complex and create a detailed action plan to guarantee that similar incidents don’t happen again.
